The Fitz Is Back !

The Fitzherbert Arms is a traditional country pub in the village of Swynnerton (Nr Stone).

And over several years, its charming, intimate and relaxed lounge, was the ideal setting for an Open-Mic, which had become very popular with audiences and musicians alike.

The Open-Mic was originally established, and successfully run by Paul Walker but due to the prevailing economic climate, was forced to take a break...

But now its back!
With new hosts: Phil Brennan (Guitar) and Jim Dunsmore (on Saxophone)

Both Phil & Jim are well known established musicians, who have been in several bands, and appeared at varies venues, in Open-Mics, Festivals and Gigs around the area, so I'm sure they're more than qualified to be our new hosts, and help this venue continue on as before.

But they need your help!
As always no event can survive & prosper (even more so in these difficult times) without your continued support...

So please check it out !
Whether your a musician eager to perform, or music lover wanting to experience great live music, this venue needs your support, and the future of real live music depends on it !

Please arrive early as seats are limited !

BTW: If you've not been to an Open-Mic before:
You should know, that these events are Definitely NOT Karaoke !

So what you hear is all performed live, so no backing tracks, or prefabricated loops, just real people playing real music LIVE !
